In 2009 he finally saved enough money to buy a belt! But the good times didn't last: no belt in 2010.

It seems he became slimmer in 2009 and wanted to use the same jeans through out and hence used a belt to hold it

Apparently someone gave him a billion of those black turtleneck shirts a long time ago and he liked them so much he always wore them.

And in 2008 he started having serious cancer related health issues so he lost a ton of weight. In fact, I think if it wasn't for the high end medical care he was able to afford he would have died in 2008...

Of course most people would have got the cancer removed immediately when they found out about it but jobs decided to go on a naturopathic diet instead and after 9 months the cancer had spread and he finally started getting (expensive) treatment.

It's too bad. His stubbornness and reality distortion field is what made him great and also likely led to his early death.
