Sarkozy wants a VIP box

Friday, November 13, 2009

I don't know if this is real or fake but it sure is funny. Letters between the French Department of Diplomatic Affairs and the Irish Consulate in Paris requesting a VIP box for the French president Nicolas Sarkozy for the Ireland-France soccer game in Dublin.

really funny, however it is obviously a fake :)
- there is no french general consulate in Paris
- there is no "rue des blaguer" (street of joking) in Paris
- the zip code for Paris is wrong
- the flower on the flag was the symbol of french royalty
- a french mail would not be so arrogant (Uhh... forget this argument :p )

Als o St Stpepehens green is a Park in central Dublin, not a street.

For the record, the four streets around the green have the address "St Stephen's Green".

But yes, Ireland has no Department of Diplomatic Affairs, but rather a Department of Foreign Affairs, whose address really is 80 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, Ireland.

FAKE
ABSOLUTELY, DEFINITELY FAKE
( I'm french, the symbol at the beginning of the letter is fake, and bad fake, and the zip code does not correspond to Paris )
