Party kid gives interview

Wednesday, January 16, 2008

An interview with Corey Worthington Delaney, the now (in)famous Australian kid who threw a party at his house while his parents were away and ended up with about 500 guests who got drunk and started destroying neighbors' private property.

Police were called in to break up the crowd in Galloway Drive just before 11pm (AEDT) Saturday when the pack of youths turned wild.

A crowd gathered at a nearby reserve on the corner of Eastbourne Way where they started throwing glass bottles at two police vehicles, causing significant damage.

Police say they were forced to retreat until back-up arrived.

Extra police, the air wing and the dog squad were called in.

The crowd eventually dispersed as police numbers swelled.

This is what the kid had to say:

No arrests were made immediately after the party. Well, not immediately.

Update: It looks like the kid won't get away with things that easy. According to The Australian, Corey, who has been on the run from his parents since the party, has been charged of non-other than child pornography. The police found some tapes at his house. More
