Ace Ventura? No. Naturalist Dr. Brady Barr. He used a life-size armored hippopotamus suit to get close to a wild hippo to get it's sweat sample.

He nearly did it. The suit was to heavy and it started sinking in mud right when he got very close to the real animal. He had to radio for help to come get him out.
