Best in Show - The ultimate data-dog is an infographic created by London-based writer, journalist and designer David McCandless, and featured in his book Knowledge Is Beautiful, that charts down 87 different dog breeds, based on desirability.
We examined data on intelligence, longevity, genetic ailments and other markers to create a "data-score" and then plotted it against public popularity of various breeds, according to the American Kennel Club.

A "best dog breeds chart" typically categorizes various dog breeds based on specific criteria such as temperament, size, exercise needs, trainability, and suitability for different lifestyles or purposes. These charts often aim to assist potential dog owners in selecting a breed that aligns with their preferences and living conditions.

They might include information about breeds suitable for families with children, apartment dwellers, or those seeking a guard dog. Factors like shedding, energy levels, intelligence, and adaptability to training could also be detailed to help individuals make informed decisions about which breed might be the best fit for their lifestyle and preferences.
