Introducing the ARGUS-IS (Autonomous Real-Time Ground Ubiquitous Surveillance Imaging System), developed by DARPA, a 1.8 Gigapixel video system, hovering above the earth on an unmanned aircraft at an altitude of 20,000 feet, capable of scanning 25 square miles of ground surface with high-quality real-time video.
