please. lego is doing it right.

Lego does still produce the bricks of creativity, indeed.

Anonymous said...

So much better than what they were intended to be!

Anonymous said...

these aren't made of lego, they are made of WIN!

Anonymous said...

I don't think you understand...

Anonymous said...

That looks shopped, i can tell from the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my day

Anonymous said...

Why on every set of cool photographs posted on the net does there have to be that one "expert" that calls "shopped".

Anonymous said...

I would have thought it would be easier to actually build these than photoshop em.

Anonymous said...

These are great! Not everything with visible pixels is shopped you know...

Anonymous said...

I may have just died from the win.

Anonymous said...

TRANSFORMERS!

To catch the one moron that still doesn't know that all the "'shopped" comment are a joke.

Get off the internet, mom.

Anonymous said...

Even if this is "shopped" or not... it is Lego and you can build everything want and not only the stuff that is on the picture :}

Anonymous said...

the "shopped" comment is almost always a joke. especially when they say "i've seen quite a few shops in my day"

Anonymous said...

Hahahha... very nice!
It's wrong in a good ways.
Look! "Taj Mahal SS Enterprise"!

Anonymous said...

This is nice to see. can't imagine how disappointed I was to not see alternate ideas in the back of a Lego manual.

Anonymous said...

some of these comments are photo shopped!

Anonymous said...

^^^ Your mom's shopped.

Anonymous said...

^^ Win.

Anonymous said...

^^^ impossible, his mum's to big to be shopped

Anonymous said...

Obvious troll is obvious.

Anonymous said...

oddly enough title could also be "doing it wrong steampunk lego"

Kids, please stop with this silly argument in the comments and enjoy the images for what they are.

Also, when someone says "that looks shooped, I can tell from the pixels and I've seen quite a few in my day", it sort of emphasizes the joke three times. It's hard to miss that it's non-serious.

Also, these designs are made of awesomesauce.

of course, but it's so hard to resist such a large crowd of ignorant people.

gotta love legos man. Fun stufff.

there are more comments about shopping than comments about the topic of the page. the only way to get the shopping trolls to eventually go away is to not make even one comment about the shop comments. yes even this one should not exist, but i have to spread the word somehow.

I like Legos. Fact: they are not made of candy.

Anonymous said...

^^^ these one's aren't, but they do sell candy legos. its like little bags of awesome...

Anonymous said...

It's too bad there's no style of text for sarcasm.

Anonymous said...

There needs to be like some kind of punctuation for sarcasm. Like a sarcasmark, if you will.

Anonymous said...

it could be this little thingy "~"
wtf is that thing even used for?

Anonymous said...

No that "~" is a tilde.

The Tajbot is a threat to humanity. It must never exist.

I'm obviously missing something, as I don't understand why these are in a post titled Lego Doing it Wrong. The originals by Lego inset in each image are cute, and so are the steampunk-esque and other style creations. In other words, nothing is wrong here, it is all delightfully right! But maybe I'm naive.

To the blog owner: You have a very extensive array of blog directory credentials! I've never seen anything that even comes close to that many!

does that boat have wings made of CANNONS?

Anonymous said...

You know, I think the comments were almost better than the Legos. I say "almost" because nothing beats Legos.

Anonymous said...

^shopped

Anonymous said...

Screw the Legos; these comments are f**king priceless!!

Anonymous said...

Am I the only person out there who pretends to get all defensive when someone says something is shopped, just to see the onslaught of 'You're so stupid it's a meme gtfo' comments that follow suit?

Obvious troll may be obvious, but I feel the REAL troll here may not have been.

I used to make mechs outta legos. Building what it's supposed to be is no fun, your supposed to create shit. It's a shame that they're so expensive today. My mom and stepdad got my little stepbrother a bag that contained only about twenty pieces. It cost like 50 bucks. No shit, they're getting ridiculous.

These are waay better that what it was supposed to be.

I want to know how to build the imperial flagship flyer thing. It looks fantastic.

Anonymous said...

Great web site! I am realy happy stumbling upon it! http://www.lopar-sanmarino.com/en/

fantastic! damn now i gotta go out and buy legos...

REAL MONEY for looking at an ad for 20 secs . Not a bad deal eh? Even more money for referrals…doesn’t even require a credit card…
It adds up nicely and is at least worth taking a look.
