It's from a book called "I'm Glad I'm a Boy! I'm Glad I'm a Girl!," published by Whitney Darrow. You can find it on Amazon, used, for $269.

Newsflash, people...Whitney Darrow, the guy that drew this, was a satirical cartoonist for the New Yorker.
He meant it to be poking fun at people who operated only within rigid and traditional gender roles.

Yeah. He failed then. There was never anything wrong people operating within "rigid and traditional gender roles" as you call them. (Are you a professor?)
