The French origin of popular English words

In their latest video, linguist Arika Okrent and illustrator Sean O'Neill (previously) showcase the etymology of a series of words of French origin in the English language.
English has borrowed a lot of words from French, but some words come from whole French phrases. Even if you speak French, you may have never noticed the connection.
