In anticipation of the 88th annual Academy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel has created a "movie edition" of his Celebrities Reading Mean Tweets About Themselves segment (previously).
The Oscar ceremony is a magical night on which starving movie stars experience joy and sorrow live for all to see. While awards shows are a place where accolades are lavished upon the talented men and women of film, Twitter is kind of the opposite. For your inconsideration we present a special movie star edition of #MeanTweets featuring Christoph Waltz, Patricia Arquette, George Clooney, Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Costner, Emily Blunt, Zach Galifianakis, Kevin Hart, Richard Dreyfuss, Cate Blanchett, Seth Rogen, Oscar Isaac, Taraji P. Henson and Sean Penn.
