Monty Python ‘Ministry of Silly Walks’ crosswalk sign in Norway

Thursday, April 3, 2014

Members of Swedish art group Kreativiteket have installed a 'Ministry of Silly Walks' from Monty Python sign on a crosswalk in the village of Ørje, in Norway, which everybody, including the mayor, seems to love.
"It's just for fun. There's no deep thought behind it," Reidar Johannes Søby from the Kreativiteket art group said. "People live in their ordinary lives and when they see this sign, maybe they can have a little smile on their face. That's all."
