Schizophrenia simulation

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

Here's a video meant to give some insight on what it's like to experience auditory hallucinations. According to the Youtube uploader, it was created "based on things our clients tell us they hear through my experience as a mental health outreach worker."

That is terrifying, hahaha. I'm so glad my internal chatter isn't quite like that, at least not so far. I hear a lot of weird shit, but a lot of it I can just laugh off. "Rape the unbelievers," where did I get that from? I don't think that's even in reference to anything, silly brain.I really wish that little girl would stop screaming though, she didn't stop even after I strangled her. Kind of breaks my heart when I have to listen to her whine.

Honestly, I don't have Schizophrenia but it didn't really bother me at all. Around the 5 minute mark I blocked the voices out super easily, but this is actually terrifying.
