1: The crown lands were stolen from the people in the first place.
2: If returned, they would be taxed, creating revenue.
3: Your "awesome UK castle" is Mont Saint-Michel, a FRENCH monastery in Normandie.
4: US tourists go to the UK because they both speak English.

1) Anonymous above is wrong about point 1
2) yes, but it wouldn't come close to recovering the lost revenue.
3) Actually, in the video it IS intended that it represents French castles (even though it has many historic ties to England). Yeah, it's a monastery, but it meets the definition of what constitutes a castle (1: a fortified building or set of buildings; 2: any fortified place or structure).
4. Yes, in part... and because we like the monarchy, appreciate the beauty of the Brittish Isles, and the French are ridiculously rude to tourists and have been essentially useless since the US Revolutionary War. =)
