Animal cruelty of the day

Thursday, December 9, 2010

If you know this guy, please give him a good beating for me.

Caught on CCTV: The student who kicked and punched a labrador puppy because he was having 'a bad day’:
Mohammed Abou-Sabaa, a student at Manchester University, was caught on CCTV delivering more than 20 blows to the five-month old Golden Labrador, Poppy. In a final sickening attack, the 21-year-old kicked the dog down a flight of stairs outside his city-centre flat.

And although magistrates were visibly shocked as they watched a six minute-long video of the attack, they didn't send Abou-Sabaa to jail. He was instead given a six-week sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work. He was also banned from keeping animals for four years.

Poppy has since been nursed back to health and the RSPCA are looking to find her a new home for Christmas.

Abou-Sabaa, of Orient House, Granby Row, launched the attack in July after learning he had failed with a job application.

I have a feeling Mr. Abou-Sabaa has another trial in store: the judge and jury of /b/.

I woould like to see the research that proved that 'More Muslims are prone to violence, and in particular to animal cruelty' and I would also like to see who did that research and for what cause.

And I think it's really stupid that this thread about an animal abuser turned into a discussion about islamic people abd racist. Please stick to the subject.

there is no connection between islam (or any other religion) and animal cruelty. in fact islam introduced some restriction on how to kill animals that were progressive at that time... but the guy from around the block from where i grew up who killed a cat for fun was christian and if you read colin goldner's book about the dalai lama you will find a story about a buddhist monk beating up a monkey. friends of mine told me about how the head of the family broke a kittens bakc with a kick at a farm in centrla chile. once again: a christian... animal cruelty is part of every "developed" society on this planet.

ps: however racism seems to be the bigger problem as it seems...

For the first time a dude with a muslim name went viral on this... and so somebody says that it is bc he is muslim? How fucked up are you? Probably just as fucked up as this dude kicking the dog. I bet mr. ali the puppy kicker hates whites, and that you secretly kick puppies ;-) Youre bros!

it is a sad state of affairs when our youth display such callous behaviour with so little regard for another living being that it makes me wonder with all the violence on television videos movies that we a society has not created this type of behaviuour our youth are so disconected from their feelings. it frightens me to think this is just becomming the norm. this certaintly not an isolated case and will only go on if we do not change the way we display our own indifferences through the means of television, violent games, and grahic violence in the movies. some of us are willing to ignore as seen in the cctv footage when a man appears near the doors as this was happening shame on us
