Squirrel photo bombing
Melissa Brandts and her husband were exploring Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park, Canada, when they stopped to take a timed photograph of themselves.

They had their camera set up on some rocks and were getting ready to take the picture when this curious little ground squirrel appeared, became intrigued with the sound of the focusing camera and popped right into the shot.

Probably fake. Timed photos are usually prefocused.

And thus focusing on the squirrel rather than the background?

This is especially funny to a few of us where I work. For years people have said that our boss George(now retired) was a squirrel and seeing this picture made us laugh at think where he'll be exploring next.

Probably not fake, they used a wireless remote, see:

Well we're in 2009 and cameras can make an auto focus just before taking the picture and that's very old news.

I really don't think it's a fake. And if it is, it's a really good one.
